Breakaway Ice Center

The Breakway Ice Center (BIC) is situated on a 7.5 acre parcel of land at 20 Carter Street in Tewksbury, MA with parking able to accommodate up to 300 vehicles.

Renovated just four years after its opening in 2004, the facility added a second rink and new locker rooms. The BIC now houses two 2 NHL sized rinks, 10 team locker rooms, and 1 official's room. There is a Pro Shop on site.

The BIC off-ice training facility is approximately 8K square feet and includes state of the art hockey centric training equipment, including:slide boards, Russian boxes, squat racks, dead lift stations, a 1.5K square foot synthetic mini-rink, and a state of the art skating treadmill.

From Boston

From Boston: Take 93 North to exit 42, Dascomb Road-Tewksbury. Take a left onto Dascomb road at the end of the exit ramp and follow for about 8/10ths of a mile. Right before the train tracks (and across from Alinda's Market) take a sharp right (almost a U-turn) onto Carter Street. Breakaway is on the left at the Sports World Complex.

From New Hampshire

Take 93 South to exit 42, Dascomb Road-Tewksbury. Take the left at the end of the exit ramp and then a right onto Dascomb road at the lights. Take Dascomb Road/East Street for about 1/2 mile. Right before the train tracks (and across from Alinda's Market) take a sharp right (almost a U-turn) onto Carter Street. Breakaway is on the left at the Sports World Complex.
