EHL and EHLP Teams Look to Pick Up Where They Left Off

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Boston Junior Rangers return to action this evening as the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) team travels out to Worcester, MA to take on the Railers Junior Hockey Club at 6:50 pm.

As for the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) team, their first game back is also taking place out at the Worcester Ice Center, coming up on Tuesday at 11:30 am.

With the 2nd half of the season getting underway it's hard to not think back to this past year when the Rangers claimed the Regular Season Championships in both the EHL and the EHLP. It was the 1st time in program history that they accomplished the feat at the EHL level, along with it being the 3rd consecutive season for the EHLP team finishing at the top of the league standings.

We all know how the story goes from there, as last year's playoffs were unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The motto 'Unfinished Business' was quickly picked up, as a new season began, and it's now up to all of the current players to complete what last year's group had started.

Heading into the 2nd half, the Rangers' EHL team owns the best record in the league. They stand at 19-1-1 through 21 total games to date and their 39 total points puts them at the top of the overall league standings.

As for the EHLP squad, the Rangers also have one of the best records in the league at this level, sitting at 14-1-4. The 32 total points helps the EHLP team follow suit with the EHL team, as they sit at the very top  of the league standings.

Below you'll find the full 2nd half schedules for each team.
