Rangers Forward Joining Lancers this Fall

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Boston Jr. Rangers are pleased to announce that Brendan Boyle has committed to Worcester State for the Fall of 2017. Boyle is in his first season with the Rangers' Premier team, and his third year with the organization.

"Brendan has been a part of our program for the last 3 seasons and has really developed into a college hockey player," said Rangers Premier head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He's big, strong, and fast and likes to play physical. We wish him the best at WSU!"

Boyle has been one of many key parts in the Rangers success this season, as they will begin the postseason as the #3 seed in the North Conference. The '96 forward hopes that his team has long playoff run in them, and then following that, he can begin his collegiate hockey career this Fall.

"Being part of the Rangers organization has formed me into the player I am today and I can't thank the coaches and my teammates enough for helping me reach my goal of playing college hockey," said Boyle. "The group of guys we have this year is a special one and I'm honored to be apart of it."

The Rangers finish off the regular season on Sunday against the East Coast Wizards, and will likely find out at the conclusion of that game, what team they will be facing first in the playoffs.
