Rangers Forward Joining Teammates this Fall

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Boston Jr. Rangers are pleased to announce that Kyle Galloway has committed to Southern New Hampshire University for the Fall of 2017. This season was Galloway's first with the Rangers' EHL team, and the native of Georgia tallied 23 points in 50 total games.

"Kyle is the kind of player that plays the game with a lot of passion and intensity," said Rangers EHL head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He really heated up in the second half and into the playoffs. He's a skilled player that sees the ice well. We are happy for him as a '97 to be moving onto NCAA hockey and to play for Coach Walsh at SNHU."

When Galloway joins the Penmen, there will be a sense of comfort in already knowing two of his teammates. Johnny Andrews and Zach Ciampa each made their commitments to SNHU a few months ago.

"My experience with the Rangers is one that I'll never forget, said Galloway. "Hard work was expected and the coaching staff pushed us everyday to get better. Coach DeCaprio and Coach Blair taught me many things on and off the ice that not only improved me as a player, but are going to help me make the transition from juniors to college. I want to thank all my coaches and teammates who have developed me into the player I am today and allowed me to achieve my goal of playing college hockey."

As we gear up for a new season, be sure to follow the Rangers on social media (Facebook - Twitter - Instagram), and watch every game live through HockeyTV.
